The low sun lighting the garden from the west brightens the leaves and petals casting shadows on others to add contrast to this scene. This flower garden wants full sun which we never had in this part of the yard until last year when we had a large hackberry tree removed from this spot. The tree removal was necessitated for a number of reasons. This garden planted on the spot where it stood honors the memory of that giant.
