Snow!

This is documentary photography that I attempt to make into an artsy image. We had a fair amount of snowfall that day at the condo and in a rare showing of motivation I actually shoveled some of it. I love the look of snow with the light sparkling on the surface. I think my footprints add some interest to the scene. It would be better if a cat or dog were present but then I’d wonder is it a picture of the dog or is it meant to be a picture of the snow? I like a scene that doesn’t make me guess what I’m looking at. I don’t think I’d print this for display, but it’s fine for a daily photo post and gives something to think about on a hot summer day.
