These twenty-nine students

Twelve children came from homes in the North Moapa valley and ten Piaute Indian children came from the reservation. The school had two rooms for these twenty-nine students; one room for the first, second and third grade and the other for the fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh and eighth grade. The Piaute children spent whatever number of years they came to school in the first three grades.
