On the summit of Mount Audubon. Chris and I hiked up there that day. Nice day to be up top. No storm to threaten us so we could spend some time there and eat lunch that we had brought. The trailhead starts in the Brainard Lake Recreation Area which was always a favorite of mine. It’s wilderness that was easy to get to from Longmont which offered great camping for the summer and fall months and good trails for skiing in the wintertime. We’re looking north and east in the image. Out beyond to the foothills and plains of Colorado.
